The BIAWAR company started on 1 January 1968, as the “Zakład Doświadczalny Predom-Sprzęt”, and then in 1970, it was transformed into a “Fabryka Urządzeń Grzewczych”, specializing in the production of electric water heaters.
In November 1992, the factory was sold to private hands and “BIAWAR” Sp. z o.o. was formed, in which the Canadian company UNP Holding BV had most of the shares. As a part of non-cash value input, the company was licensed by the British company Redring Electric for the production of instantaneous electric water heaters.
On the agreement of 22 May 2000, the main shareholder UNP Holdings BV sold its shares to Nibe AB.
On 20 December 2000, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Biawar brought a resolution to change its name to “NIBE – BIAWAR” Sp. z o.o.
In 1998, NIBE-BIAWAR implemented a quality control system and obtained ISO 9001 certification in the design, production, sale, installation and warranty service of electric water heaters, heat exchangers, hand and hair dryers. The NIBE-BIAWAR company is growing fast. Over the past three years, sales have doubled and employment increased by over 40%. In 2001, a modern tank enamelling line was launched. Over the next few years, a further several million zlotys will be invested in the development of the machine park.
The products offered by NIBE-BIAWAR are associated with good quality and adaptation to the users’ needs and requirements. Thanks to that, the life of our clients becomes more comfortable and pleasant. The company’s goal is to constantly improve the quality and attractiveness of the products.
